State Reps. Andy Schor, D-Lansing, Sam Singh, D-East Lansing, Teresa Abed, D-Grand Ledge, and Tom Leonard, D-Dewitt, along with Sen. Rick Jones, R-Grand Ledge, didn’t miss any votes during the 2013 session, according to a tally by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

Rep. Tom Cochran, D-Mason, missed just 9 out of 534 recorded votes, or 1.6 percent. Senate Democratic Leader Gretchen Whitmer, D-East Lansing, missed 31 roll-call votes, or 4.7 percent, out of 665.

The highest not-voting totals were recorded by Detroit Sen. Bert Johnson (97 of 665) and Fraser Rep. Marilyn Lane (76 of 534). Nine of 38 senators and 71 of 110 House members had perfect records. The average number of missed votes was 7.4.
