On this week's edition of City Pulse On the Air editor and publisher Berl Schwartz holds his weekly conversation with MSU Political Scientist Matt Grossman about the 2020 presidential election. This week's show also features a new guest, Brett Decker of Defiance College. Decker discusses with Schwartz why it might be a wise decision for Joe Biden to pick Gov. Whitmer as his running mate.

Reporter Cole Tunningley speaks with Kristin Mahoney from the MSU Department of English. Mahoney studies apocalyptic literature from the early 20th century and teaches a class about it. She discusses with Tunningley about how the critical issues of today are in many ways a reflection of the past.

Music writer Rich Tupica rounds off the show with an obscure track from a '60s Michigan-based psychedelic garage rock group known as The Saharas.
