PROPOSED SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF EAST LANSING’S FISCAL YEAR 2021
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM BUDGET

The East Lansing City Council of the City of East Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan will hold a meeting and public hearing on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 7:00PM. This meeting and public hearing will be held at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the follow-ing proposed substantial amendments to the City of East Lansing’s Fiscal Year 2021 Community Develop- ment Block Grant (CDBG) Program Budget:

Allocating $61,338.84 from Capital Area Housing Partner-ship’s Homeownership Opportunity Assistance Program (HOAP) and $58,661.16 in unprogrammed CDBG funds, a total of $120,000, to the following projects: - $40,000 to partially match the Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) grant

- $80,000 to increase lighting through downtown East Lansing The public may attend and participate at all meetings in person. The public may view and provide comment on the above substantial amendments during the following period: 8:00AM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 - 5:00PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Comments to the proposed amendments can be addressed to Matt Apostle via email (mapostle@cityofeastlansing.com) or mailed to 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI 48823 C/O Matt Apostle.

The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpret- ers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
