Art Interactive wolf moon celebration

Art Interactive, a nonprofit founded by local artists, will celebrate this month’s full moon, known as the wolf moon, 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 25) at the Fledge. The event is free and open to all ages and includes an open mic, a poetry slam, a drum circle, a community potluck, guided meditations, live painting, vendors and more. There will also be a warm clothing drive for the Fledge’s community closet.

Art Interactive was established in summer 2023 and has been hosting monthly full-moon events since. The gatherings provide an opportunity for community members to make art together and enjoy others’ art in a supportive and nurturing setting. The organization also works to give back to the community through events like backpack, blanket and clothing drives.
