Posted

On this edition of City Pulse On the Air, editor and publisher Berl Schwartz speaks with David Pilgrim, director of the Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University. Pilgrim, who appears at Lansing Community College this week, shares his thoughts on the significance of this collection.

Arts editor Audrey Matusz reports on an exhibit by Vivek Vellanki, a Ph.D. Candidate in the College of Education at Michigan State University. He asked immigrants of various ages and ethnicities, “What do you want the world to know about you?" The result is a colorful project reclaiming objects of bureaucracy.

Reporter Dennis Burck interviews WFMK-East Lansing DJ John Robinson. Robinson — an author, musician, DJ and actor — has documented over 250 of Michigan’s urban legends and ghost stories.

Listen to City Pulse On the Air every Sunday, 10 a.m. on Impact 89 FM.
