NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

EAST LANSING CITY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given of the following public hearing to be held by the East Lansing City Council on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI, 48823.

Request from 530 Albert 2023, LLC, for site plan and a special use permit approval for 530 Albert Avenue. The proposed application would construct a five-story building with 120 units of affordable rental housing and approximately 1,100 square feet of commercial space. The 0.68-acre (29,969 square feet) site is zoned B-3, City Center Commercial District.

The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
